Frequently Asked Questions

I was referred to Physical Therapy. Can I do this instead? What if I recently finished physical therapy?

This is NOT Physical Therapy, but, depending on your issue, the program may work well to suit your needs. The program does include customized exercises and educational content. You can enroll and discuss your concerns with a health coach to determine if it is what you are looking for.

If you have recently finished in person physical therapy, but would like to learn some additional skills to prevent recurring episodes, progress your current program and manage any persistent symptoms after Physical Therapy, then this is a good program for you.

What if I am currently in Physical Therapy?

If you are currently in Physical Therapy, we suggest you wait to enroll until you have completed it. That way you can learn additional skills for self-treatment, progression of your programs and prevention.

What if I do not have pain?

If you have ever experienced persistent or recurring pain, this program is a good fit, even if you do not currently have pain. We can teach you the tools you need to prevent and manage recurring episodes in the future.

What types of services are included?

While working with a health coach, you will have access to exercises in video format and educational content; both are customized to your needs to aid in self-treatment of your symptoms. Mindfulness, pain science, habit cessation and nutrition programs are also included.

What types of problems can be addressed?

We work with any kind of persistent pain anywhere in the body including spine and all large and small joints, as well as numbness/tingling, and limited mobility.

Do I need to see my doctor first?

No, you do not need to see a doctor first.

Can this help me avoid surgery?

Yes, this is possible! Our program was designed to help people learn how to relieve their own pain by getting to the root cause of why they are hurting and then teaching them how to self-treat and prevent the pain.
